I am President of the Cotswold Association.
Over the past 25 years I have been ward member for Blockley and then Campden Vale. With boundary changes I am again Blockley ward.
Born just over the boarder in Worcestershire. Age of 8yr to Leicestershire then at age 12yr till 16yr school in Barbados. Back to UK for college in Bromsgrove. Trained as a dental nurse. Worked in advertising for major firm. Started my own catering business.
Married and now sadly a widow. 3 children and 2 stepchildren All now married with children. (11 Grandchildren).
The Cotswolds has been my home for 30 or more years and I love it. I will do all I can to protect the heritage bestowed up on us. I am the voice of the residents at the District Council. The residents of the Cotswolds in the ward of Blockley voted for me to be their campaigner. I value my position and will keep my promise to work to the best I can to serve the community of the Cotswolds.
I attend all my parish council meetings where residents can attend and ask me questions.
As candidate for the Blockley Ward my pledges are:
Reinstate the planning and enforcement departments to be an efficient well staffed professional service
Respecting the AONB and Cotswold Heritage protecting the environment and working toward the green agenda
To be the voice of the residents in guidance for this Ward and the Cotswolds and taking note of local knowledge and sensible options
